CIF’s Kinship Care program enables children to remain in their local communities in the care of extended family members. CIF staff members conduct family-tracing, arrange any support needed to ensure children they are enrolled in school and having their needs met and provide regular monitoring and support.

The Foster Care program identifies, screens and trains local Cambodian foster families to care for children who are unable to be reunited with biological or extended family. Families receive regular follow up and training on topics such as child rights and parenting skills abd support needed to ensure children they are enrolled in school and having their needs met and provide regular monitoring and support.

The ABLE program provides in-home services and support for families caring for a child with a disability, to not only provide for their basic needs but also enable inclusion and participation in the community.
